BAOWU awards 10 refractories enterprises as outstanding supply chain partners

Dec. 6, 2024 - The New Low-Carbon Metallurgy Modern Industry Co-Chain Action and the China Baowu Industrial Products Supply Chain Ecosystem Partners Conference today was successfully held in Shanghai.
According to reports, 78 outstanding suppliers were honored with the title of "China Baowu Outstanding Supply Chain Partner" at the conference. They received awards for Service Excellence, Value Contribution, Innovation Leadership, Low-Carbon Pioneering, and Outstanding Contribution.
Five refractories companies—Houying Group Haicheng Xinghai Refractories Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Bofeng Refractories Co., Ltd., Kuitun Haokai Metallurgical Materials Co., Ltd., Puyang Refractories Group Co., Ltd., and Ruitai Masteel New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.—were awarded the "2023 Annual Baowu Outstanding Supply Chain Partner – Value Contribution Award."
Three refractories companies—Henan Xibao Metallurgy Materials Group Co., Ltd., Changxing Meishan New Material Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Red Eagle Group Co., Ltd.—received the "2023 Annual Baowu Outstanding Supply Chain Partner – Low-Carbon Pioneer Award."
Two refractories companies—Beijing Lirr High-Temperature Materials Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Zili High-Temperature Technology Co., Ltd.—were honored with the "2023 Annual Baowu Outstanding Supply Chain Partner – Outstanding Contribution Award."
Congratulations to the above 10 outstanding refractories companies. The high-quality development of steel enterprises cannot be achieved without the support of refractories. Over the years, China's refractories industry has not only met but also driven significant technological advancements in the steel industry, including the large-scale construction of blast furnaces, extended life of converters, efficient continuous casting, and energy conservation and emission reduction. These contributions have played a crucial role in the development of China's steel industry.
